As a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., had some strong criticism of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s handling of the Benghazi attacks that killed four Americans.
Sen. Isakson joined Maria Bartiromo on Fox News Sunday morning and weighed in on Hillary Clinton’s upcoming presidential announcement, her relations with Iran and Cuba, the uprising of ISIL, and Hillary’s use of a personal email address while at the State Department.
“The one commercial she ran against Barack Obama when she ran for president was, ‘Who do you want in the White House at 3 a.m. when that call comes in?’ Well her call came in at 3 a.m. from Benhazi and they didn’t answer,” Isakson said. “She’s going to have to respond to that.”
Sen. Isakson later added, “We had four Americans in the consulate who lost their lives because the United States didn’t respond and we know the State Department knew they were under attack.”
