Isakson Statement on Tragic Shooting in Arizona

ATLANTA – U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today released the following statement following the tragic shooting at a public forum held by U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) in Tucson, Arizona.

“I am deeply saddened and disturbed by the senseless attack on innocent lives in Arizona’s 8th district. My deepest sympathies to the families of those who lost loved ones. My prayers also go to Congresswoman Giffords for a full and speedy recovery.”
