National Small Business Group Endorses Isakson

ATLANTA –U.S. Senator and Senate candidate Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today received the endorsement from the National Federation of Independent Business for his commitment to standing up for small businesses. Isakson accepted the award before NFIB members, local small business owners and workers at Dorsett Industries, a small business, in Dalton, Ga.

“I’m pleased to receive the NFIB’s endorsement. As someone who ran a company for 22 years, I understand that small business is the heart of the American economy– when small business prospers, America prospers,” said Isakson. “It is vital that we support our small businesses through lower taxes, less regulation and empowerment of the private-sector. I will continue to work to promote pro-growth economic policies that will get our county back on track and create jobs.”

Isakson is a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. He spent more than three decades in the real estate business, beginning his business career in 1967 when he opened the first Cobb County, Ga., office of a small, family-owned real estate business, Northside Realty.
