Isakson Congratulates Massachusetts Senator-Elect Brown

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today issued the following statement regarding the election of Scott Brown to serve as the next senator from Massachusetts:

“I want to congratulate Scott Brown on his historic victory in Massachusetts last night. The American people are concerned about jobs and security, and the Massachusetts voters sent a clear message that we need to back up and start over on health care. I look forward to welcoming Senator-elect Brown to the United States Senate to help us fight the Democrats’ irresponsible agenda of government-run health care and out-of-control spending.”
