Isakson Announces Over $3 Million Cash On Hand for 2010 U.S. Senate Reelection

ATLANTA – Republican U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson’s reelection campaign filed its second quarter report with the Federal Election Commission. The report shows that Isakson’s campaign has over $3 million cash on hand for his reelection.

“I am humbled by the endorsement of Georgians who are financially committed to our campaign.” Isakson said. “Together with the support of our growing grassroots network around Georgia and continued efforts to raise funds to finance our reelection effort, our campaign is working toward a victorious November 2010 Election Day.”

During the second quarter of 2009 total receipts for the campaign were $823,659.24, resulting in $3,019,043 cash on hand as of June 30, 2009. Isakson is up for reelection to the U.S. Senate in November 2010.
